I entered the National Geographic Traveller photography competition. I entered one of my snowboard photographs from Mount Hood, the same photo that seems to be winning everything at the moment! I won my category which was action. So I got the photograph published in the magazine.
I covered the slopestyle event at Chill Factore for Snowsports England. The BBC then used the photos to cover the event, and they are on the BBC’s website.
Chelsea Football Club’s main charity sponsor is Right To Play UK. I covered Right To Play’s World Cup Challenge event which was held at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea used the photographs for an article on their website.
After entering the 2012 PhotoPlus competition and making it through to the final I was asked if my photograph could be used in the marketing for Serif’s new PhotoPlus X6. My photograph of Matty Mo hitting the wall ride at High Cascade has now been used as the featured photograph inside Serif’s new PhotoPlus X6 photo editing software.
My photograph has also been used in a video to promote the software and is featured in a gallery along with the other finalists from around the world. It is featured on Serif’s Website.
This is an article about me published in the Daily Gazette and online versions on both the Daily Gazette’s website and the Essex County Standard. The article is all about this photo which I entered into an international competition and I am one of four finalists for my category, action. Here are the online versions of the article, which are longer and have more detail in them. Click on the screenshots to read the full article.
As well as my photos being used in newsletters that RTP have sent out, they have also been used online for a couple of things. Here is just one example of my photographs being used after their 5k charity fun run.
Again this is Right To Play using the photographs I took for them at their World Cup Challenge which was held at Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea Football Club.
