I have just finished doing a shoot for Rubix Kangaroo shooting all of their clothes for the 2012/2013 season. This was a tough shoot just because getting everything absolutely perfect for the product shoot is so difficult. Not to mention tight deadlines which I had to meet.
For this shoot I even had to do some ironing! Crazy stuff!
So this shoot was all done and edited within a couple days. It was a lot of work but is always worth it in the end especially when you are doing what you love. And working for such a cool company like RK! Hopefully I will get the opportunity to do more work with them and get some more photos that I am stoked on!
Shooting in the studio was fun, once I had the correct lighting it was relatively easy. Hoodies were the easiest to shoot as they can be creased and messy, but t-shirts have to be as perfect as you can get them and that is where the time consuming part comes, trying to make everything have no creases or bits of fluff on it.
The editing process took the longest. I had to cut out all of the products and place a background behind them. I also had to try and ensure that the colours were as close as possible to the real thing. I also had to try and get rid of any creases that were left in the t-shirts. This was really difficult and I still did not manage to get rid of all the creases unfortunately.
Everything is now live and it is up on the RK website, so go check it out!
